Hi, my name is Peter Offer. You probably don't know my face, but you might know my voice because I've been talking to you from your television for over 30 years. 

I'm a voice-over artist but I've spent most of my career working for the BBC as a TV Announcer. Yes, I'm one of those annoying voices that talks all over the end of your favourite programme !  I've introduced all manner of shows over the years and I'm sure I was probably on your TV talking to you when you were the same age as my readers will be. That makes me feel very old !

Mr Clopabomble is a character I dreamt up in primary school and I wrote some short stories about his strange ability to turn into anything he was thinking about. My teacher was somewhat bemused so I put him to bed for the next 50 years, but a chance mention of his name to my eldest grandson suddenly brought him vividly back to life. He was intrigued and amused by this odd character and begged me to write some more stories about him, so here we are. He loves them, and I hope you will too.
